Some Wierd Sin from Winnipeg. Good hardcore but the singer doesn't really do it for me. Never got to see them play.

Welcome to Punkanada where I'm trying to get as much good 80's Canadian Punk music as possible in one place, especially bands I like or have seen play live. All of the music here is available for download elsewhere but why waist hours searching when I've already done all of the dirty work for you. I'm from Winnipeg & I saw Some Weird Sin play live only once. They opened for the Dead Kennedys in October 1984. The other openers were Casual Primates & The Unwanted.
ReplyDeleteThey played a snotty-style punk not unlike Australia's Radio Birdman. Some Weird Sin were a really good band.
I never saw them, not sure if they even played Regina.
