Entirely Distorted - What Gives? Demo

Here's a special treat for you, the demo tape for Entirely Distorted from Edmonton. I haven't seen this posted anywhere else so enjoy. I have a copy but don't have access so a huge thanks to DaveGeek for uploading it! This comes with no track listing so if anyone has this info please leave a comment or email me. This was another one with sound quality issues so I cleaned it up the best I could.

NoMeansNo - Wrong

Originally from Victoria and now Vancouver, NoMeansNo is one of my all time favourite bands. I've seen them play countless times and have heard all of their music and in my opinion Wrong is the best NoMeansNo album ever! This is the first CD reissue with 2 bonus tracks.

You grew up in Regina of all places? Yes, and it wasn't as lame as you might think. There was no where else to go between Winnipeg and Calgary so we got all the bands coming through. I lived in a house with some friends and we had a deal with one of the promoters, we got into the shows for free if the bands could stay at our house. There were a lot of bands and a constant party so some of the post may or may not be correct due to memory failure!

A lot of this music has been reissued on CD. If you like the music then please support the band and go buy it!

About me

It all started in 1981 or 82 in Regina, I was listening to the Clash and bands like that. I went with some friends to a house party and saw a local band called Diplomatic Immunity and that was it for me. I fell in love with the music and the messege and have been listening to it ever since. At the time I didn't have much money so had very few records. The first 3 records I bought were Black Flag Damaged, The Exploited Punks Not Dead and The Subhumans No Wishes No Prayers. In the late 80's I was listening to a lot of metal but got back into punk in the early 90's. I moved to Vancouver in 1990 and searched the city for punk vinyl. I did quite well and now have about 200 -300 records including a sealed copy of No Means No Mama and The Subhumans Incorrect Thoughts!

I am currently living in Entebbe, Uganda in East Africa.
