SNFU - And No One Else Wanted To Play

I'm sure I've seen 3 covers for this album, this is similar to to original one I saw in Canada. Anyway, the record's great but I was really blown away the first time I saw them play. The recording can never do justice to their live performance. They came to the after show party at our house with DOA but neither stayed too long as far a I can remember.

Yep, there are 3 covers. What you have posted is the original US cover, the original Canadian cover was an illustration of this picture and now there's the cartoony version. Basically they used a Diane Arbus photo without permission and had legal problems as a result. Nothing too major but still it was easier to totally change the cover to the one around nowadays.

Thanks for clearing that up. I have to say I'm not really a big fan of the last cover though.

I have to look but I have all 3 but might still have a 4th...there was a family guns cover too...getting ready to pass them on now though...if anyone is interested, make an offer at pbradfor@utah.gov...just don't have room anymore

You grew up in Regina of all places? Yes, and it wasn't as lame as you might think. There was no where else to go between Winnipeg and Calgary so we got all the bands coming through. I lived in a house with some friends and we had a deal with one of the promoters, we got into the shows for free if the bands could stay at our house. There were a lot of bands and a constant party so some of the post may or may not be correct due to memory failure!

A lot of this music has been reissued on CD. If you like the music then please support the band and go buy it!

About me

It all started in 1981 or 82 in Regina, I was listening to the Clash and bands like that. I went with some friends to a house party and saw a local band called Diplomatic Immunity and that was it for me. I fell in love with the music and the messege and have been listening to it ever since. At the time I didn't have much money so had very few records. The first 3 records I bought were Black Flag Damaged, The Exploited Punks Not Dead and The Subhumans No Wishes No Prayers. In the late 80's I was listening to a lot of metal but got back into punk in the early 90's. I moved to Vancouver in 1990 and searched the city for punk vinyl. I did quite well and now have about 200 -300 records including a sealed copy of No Means No Mama and The Subhumans Incorrect Thoughts!

I am currently living in Entebbe, Uganda in East Africa.
